Muttu Kaadu is around 36 KM from Chennai. Maintained by TTDC ( Tamilnadu Toursim Development Corporation), it is very famous for the boating and the peacefulness. Also, a place of attraction for the non-veg lovers, porn and jelly fish are available here. Further trainings various water sports like wind surfing. The view of the bridge over the Buckingham Canal and the view of the modern chennai in the backdrop is really loveable.

This is located on the East Coast Road (ECR) which became outskirts of the Chennai city. One who plan to visit this place can also visit Kovalm beach. A half a day trip to cover muttu kaadu and kovalam will be really enjoyable. As, Muttu Kaadu will be open till 6 PM, You choose to reach around 3pm and enjoy till 6pm. Then you can go to Kovalam. You can also easily reach Old Mahapalipuram Road (OMR) from Kovalam beach.
