The Island Ground

This is one of the hot places in Chennai. It is an island formed around the Cooum River. This ground is the venue for Exhibitions, Trade and Tourist Fairs that are held periodically and seasonally. Tamil sangamam is one of the famous events took place here. One can check with local people or tourism department for any ongoing events here.

This is very nearer to Marina Beach.
